Hello Jeannie, wow it’s been along time. Glad I saw your post. My husband and I were in S.V. for Christmas 2019. We finally got to go to the Christmas class party at Vinnies and we had a blast! I’m planning on going to the reunion this October. I hope you can make it out I would love to see you! I live in the Washington D.C. area, Oakton Va to be exact.

Lavonda was always a cool type of girl, you know the type... ones that could hang out with anybody, male or female, from horses riders to tennis players and everyone in between.  She was beautiful on the outside like a striking model, with that long georgious blonde hair and inside she had a heart of gold. She loved everyone, and they loved her. Her love of animals was infectious and that was just one of her many quality's I admired. I have had the honor of Lavonda being my friend for many years, and that was a blessing from God for me in many ways. Although we weren't close in distance ~ our friendship stretched across the miles effortlessly. On my visits through the past 40 years I could count on Lavonda to take me out when I would come to Sierra Vista. She helped me in times when I needed someone to talk to and always kept me informed of what was happening with my friends in Sierra Vista. She was planning on coming to see me in D.C. for the Cherry Blossoms, I was so looking forward to that. But God had other plans for her and he called his Sweet Angel home to be with Him. Spread your wings and fly free my darling, pass the Rainbow Bridge to see all of "our little guys" and find the Buena Colts alumni and tell them hello. One day we'll all be together again ~ until then know that your always in our thoughts and in our hearts. Our Love to You, Fred & SanDee Parrish-Edwards
